COSTS PREGNANCY

The basic health insurance covers the following costs:

• 7 checkups during a normal pregnancy
• Additional checkups in case of a high-risk pregnancy or with a medical prescription.

COSTS BIRTH PREPARATION

The basic health insurance covers the following costs:

• The health insurance company pays a lump sum of 150.– towards the cost of birth preparation courses (110.– per hour)
• Depending on your supplementary insurance, additional costs may be covered.

COSTS POSTPARTUM CARE

The basic health insurance covers the following costs:

• Within the first 56 days after childbirth: 16 visits for your first child and/or after a caesarean section, 10 visits for your following children
• 3 breastfeeding consultations
• The standby fee of CHF 150.- is not covered by the basic health insurance. If you are unable to pay the standby fee, please contact me to work out a solution.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS OR APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED AT SHORT NOTICE

• Appointments cancelled or rescheduled by the client less than 24 hours in advance will be billed.
• You will receive a bill for the appointment that was not cancelled or missed on time. These charges are not covered by your health insurance.
